Nurtured by favourable rainfall during ripening, this 2017 Evandale Estate Shiraz embodies the richness of Eden Valley terroir. Aromas of dark berries and plums mingle with hints of mixed spice and cherries. The palate unfolds with lush flavors of blackberry compote and juicy plums, underscored by nuances of pepper and cinnamon. Eighteen months in French oak hogsheads imparts subtle vanilla notes. Silky tannins lead to a rewarding, lingering finish. A truly satisfying Shiraz.
